This is a full-time remote role that offers the flexibility to embark on business development journeys while also contributing to the enhancement of existing connections.

Key Responsibilities

The essential job duties shall include, but not limited to:
  • Source new carriers and build relationships with existing ones
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with carriers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date carrier information in our database
  • Ensure carriers comply with Cargobot's policies and procedures
  • Address any carrier concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate with carriers regularly to ensure shipments are moving smoothly
  • Collaborate with the Carrier Sales team to ensure customer needs are met
  • Work with the Ops team to resolve any issues or discrepancies with carrier invoices
  • Work with Account Managers for spot quoting exceptions (truck in hand)
  • Keep up-to-date on industry trends and developments

What you'll need

  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with carriers
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

 

  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and other business software tools
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
